come walk with us

The gang’s
all here.

We’re the Parkes family. Six wildly different hearts, one very lived-in life, and always a story to tell.

SOMETHING MADE US STOP

I think this
is a meant-to-be
moment.

maybe your story was always meant to wander into ours.

AN INVITATION

Hey you.

If this little invitation has found its way into your neck of the woods…

There’s a pretty good chance you’ve created something that made our hearts skip a beat.

Or made us wildly curious.

Probably both.

We noticed.

And now we want to know the story behind it. What did you pour into it? What’s hiding underneath the shiny bits?

And what might happen if the story you’ve poured so much of your heart and soul into collided with ours?

We want in.

THE PARKES LENS™

aka… how we do life

Really living
means paying
attention.

The Parkes Lens is our way of living. We notice what lights each of us up, and we follow the thread.

No one right way. No script. Just six wildly different hearts, each drawn to something of their own.

We trust that we’re learning and experiencing every minute of every day.

the glimmers.the hard bits.the belly laughs.the wrong turns.the magic we never saw coming.

It all counts. It all belongs.
Piece by piece, it becomes the whole story of us.

life leads. we stay curious.

LEARNING THROUGH LIVING

Ordinary.
to
extraordinary.

A FEW CHAPTERS

Stories that stayed.

LOMBOK, ACCORDING TO SUTTON

One milkshake. One very windy road. One of Dad’s hats that never quite recovered.

THE WELCOME

Evie’s family washed the goat because we were coming. Five weeks old and covered in heat rash, our Aussie baby was held by Granny with complete joy.

THE LITTLE ISLAND

The best Italian spaghetti, eaten off the coast of Lombok while wild horses wandered nearby. Of course.

LOOK CLOSER

A baby having a bath in a silver bucket on the side of the road. Not on the itinerary. Exactly the kind of thing we notice.

when our stories collide…

Your story has
already begun.

What if it dropped into ours for a while?

You had the idea.
You made the thing.
You built the place.
You wrote the book.
You obsessed over some tiny detail that probably kept you awake at 2am.

We don’t want to stand on the outside and tell people about it.

What if we lived it? Like, really lived it?

Let us wear it. Eat it. Read it. Stay there. Play with it. Take it somewhere. Ask questions about it. Let the kids get completely obsessed with some tiny part you never expected them to notice.

Let it become part of our actual life for a little while.

Because somewhere between the story you’ve already started and the life we’re already living, something neither of us could manufacture might happen.

That’s where
the magic lives.

HOW THE MAGIC HAPPENS

Five stages.
One journey of discovery.

you created the experience. we’re curious about the story hiding underneath it.

THE SPARK
01

Wander

we step inside your story.

We get curious about what you created, why it exists and the world around it.

02

Notice

we follow what pulls us in.

What lights someone up? What surprises us? What tiny thing suddenly becomes a very big thing?

03

Gather

we follow the story underneath.

The conversations. The questions. The funny bits. The beautiful bits. The bits that go sideways.

04

Reflect

what stayed with us?

Not just what happened. What it showed us, shifted in us, or kept us talking.

05

Return

we bring the story home.

What we captured. What we noticed. What we learnt. What stayed.

STORIES THAT STAY

Our living
library.

you gave us something to live.
we bring you back the story it became.

A whole library of your story, ready to share.

Depending on the collaboration, that can include:

  • A hero story film
  • Short-form reels
  • A curated gallery of edited photographs
  • Written story and captions
  • The candid, behind-the-scenes moments

Created for your brand to use across your own channels, all seen through the Parkes Lens.

THE FAMILY, NEVER A FORMULA

Six hearts.
Six different sparks.

Each of us is lit up by something different. But a spark is an invitation, never an expectation. No one performs on cue. Some stories hold all six of us; others belong to one or two. We follow what feels genuine that day.

I don’t know about you,
but we’re getting butterflies over here.

Thinking of all the magic we could make.

Are you coming…

There’s sure to be a blooper…
